Lindsey Carter, RMT, CDT

registered massage therapist, vodder certified manual lymph drainage practitioner, Matrix repatterning Specialist

Lindsey has more than 25 years experience working as a Registered Massage Therapist. She is also a certified Manual Lymph Drainage and Lymphedema Therapist. She studied and received her certification with the internationally recognized Dr. Vodder school. This training and experience gives Lindsey the skills to work with clients recovering from cancer treatment, surgery, trauma, and many conditions that cause inflammation within the body (more details below).

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a light, rhythmic treatment that stimulates the natural flow of lymph throughout the body.  This facilitates the removal of metabolic waste from the tissues while bringing nutrients and oxygen to the cells, creating an environment ideal for healing.
While MLD is well known as a treatment for individuals who have undergone lymph node removal/dissection or radiation, it can be beneficial for many other conditions, including:

* Primary or Secondary lymphedema
* Sprains, strains or fractures
* Post-surgical trauma
* Wounds
* migraines
* Chronic sinusitis
* Traumatic injuries
* Dermatological disorders

In her ongoing effort to help clients find answers to their chronic pain, Lindsey discovered Matrix Repatterning and completed her certification. This is a gentle yet profound therapy, developed by Dr. George Roth, that corrects imbalances within the body at a cellular level. A comprehensive assessment can help determine underlying sources of restriction often due to impact injuries that have accumulated over a lifetime. By precisely locating these areas and applying gentle, hands-on treatment, the layers of tension can start to unravel.

If you are interested in booking an assessment for Matrix Repatterning and follow-up treatment, please call Lindsey at (613)884-9799. You can also learn more about Matrix Repatterning at www.matrixrepatterning.com

Email Lindsey: cartermassage@gmail.com ** if you need to cancel an appointment with Lindsey, please email her at this address or call 613-884-9799 if you need immediate assistance or are late-cancelling your apt.

Dr. Matthew Mossop, ND, BEng

naturopathic doctor

Matt is a lifelong Ottawa native and Glebite, having grown up and developed a strong connection with the area. He completed the four year naturopathic medicine program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in North York before choosing to return home.

Matt’s main focus in naturopathy is mental health, where he has strong passion for helping people heal their wounds. Matt works mainly through an approach called Holistic Counseling, pioneered by Moshe Daniel Block, under whom Matt has been trained and mentored.

Holistic Counseling offers a unique approach to mental health, wherein limiting belief systems at the root of a patient’s suffering are brought to light and understood. Through this process, patients are empowered to achieve a sense of peace and happiness.

It's not about finding quick fixes for happiness, but understanding and overcoming the mental blocks we create within ourselves that hold us back from our true nature. These blocks can cloud our perspective and prevent us from reaching our full potential and finding peace.

Whether you suffer from stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, etc., or simply want to understand yourself better, Matt is here to help.

Matt is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

Matt also works with patients on their diet, lifestyle, and bloodwork and offers a free pdf on his website detailing the basics of a healthy lifestyle.

Krista Reid

Breathwork coach/teacher

Krista is here to help you connect more deeply to your heart through the power of your breath. She is a lifelong student and certified facilitator of Breathwork, an active self-healing technique that has changed her life. Krista has mentored under Erin Telford and David Elliot in New York and LA, and continues to be a student of this work. This practice is an effective way to bring greater awareness to our limiting beliefs and emotional/mental blocks and build one’s ability to see the potential beyond the ‘stories’. Breathwork enables us to nourish a stronger relationship with our most confident, intuitive selves and live in greater accordance with nature. We all have the capacity to mend our spirit. With the proper tools, anything is possible.

Private Breathwork Sessions:

Private one-on-one healing sessions are for those in need of extra support in an intimate container.  We will begin our time together with deep listening and reflection to connect on what is coming up for healing.  You will then lie down as I guide you through a brief meditation and opening of sacred space.  Once we have found our grounded connection, we will follow through with the catharsis of active Breathwork to help clear the subconscious programming that has us feeling stuck in negative thought patterns which can deteriorate the health of our emotional, spiritual and physical body.

Each session is intuitively guided to access what the body needs to open to access a deeper sense of self love and inner peace. Krista’s work includes an infusion of guided active Breathwork, healing touch, energy work, and sound therapy.

Your session will take place on an INFRA RED & PEMF HEALING HEALTHY WAVE MAT which has these healing modalities:
Far-Infrared helps improve blood flow to help relieve muscle and joint pain PEMF: helps counter the negative electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) emitted by technology. PEMF therapy helps bring our bodies back into balance with its natural state; having the same benefits as earthing/grounding practices outside. Crystals: healing jade, tourmaline, and amethyst. Negative Ions: acts as antioxidants to help counter free radical damage in the body.  Photon// Red Light Therapy: helps improve blood flow to help relieve muscle and joint pain.

There are a wide variety of physical and emotional sensations that you might experience during a session; while this is unique to each person and their own bodies, most people feel various types of tingling, vibration, and physical, as well as emotional release and catharsis.

Book & experience a private breathwork healing session if:

● You feel like you are ready for some emotional release that

is gently facilitated

● You feel stuck in your life, your thought patterns, or

limiting beliefs about what life can be like

● You feel difficulty in opening your heart or receiving love

● You are having a hard time taking a deep breath

● You would like to release strong emotions like anxiety,

depression, grief, stress, or anger

● You feel disconnected and want to shift and ground your

energy

● You feel codependent on outside sources to provide relief

from physical and emotional pain and would like to be

better equipped with tools that empower your wellbeing
